Beschreibung

An exceptional example that we've recently purchased direct from a gentleman who's very much car collecting and rock royalty!

This particular DB5 was delivered new to a Mr L. J. Grundon and a letter on file from his son confirms that his father retained ownership for some 30 years, until his death and that the car was his father's 'pride and joy'.

The car was delivered new in Goodwood Green over beige leather and factory options included chrome wheels, heated rear window, Motorola radio, powered aerial and two Britax safety belts.

A matching number example that since being sold from its first owner's estate, has been maintained without regard to cost by either Aston Martin Works or Aston Martin Heritage dealers including most recently by the world renowned R.S. Williams Ltd.

Purchased by its most recent owner in December 2018 from Bonhams Bond Street sale at which time the car still retained its original interior, albeit very well worn. Following his purchase, over £108,000 has been spent on the car, which included a bare metal respray and re-trim in period correct Vaumol leather interior.

A no-excuse car that presents exceptionally well, is matching numbers and thankfully not presented or originally in the clichéd colours of Silver Birch over a black interior.
