Chassis 24927 was sold new by HR Owen on the 19th of September 1978. Specified in Rosso Chiaro with Nero hide and carpet the car was first owned by Dr. P.J. Taylor in London who retained the car until 1983 when it was acquired by Mr Robert Battistini in Surrey. The car changed hands to John Victor Cigarini having purchased the car directly from Mr Battistini in 1987, and in 1994 it was acquired by Ferrari specialist Paul Baber. The description of the car in 1994 noted that it was finished in Rosso Corsa with a Magnolia leather interior and that the car had recently been restored. In 1997 our car was acquired by a European Ferrari collector who during his 26 year ownership had the engine and gearbox rebuilt by Ferrari specialist QV London and DK Engineering. In 2020 the car was purchased by an O’Kane Lavers client who began a compressive re-commission costing over £40,000 in parts alone, as detailed in the restoration file that accompanies the car. The idea of repainting the car to its original colour of Rosso Chiaro was considered by our seller, however he decided to keep the car as it is, for the next owner to choose what colour they would like the car repainted. The paintwork is presented in a very useable condition, however small blemishes and the overall age of the paint can be seen when close to the car. A recent full service with new cambelt and clutch makes this car turn-key ready for the road ahead.

The car is complete with two large history files, documenting the cars history and recent re-commission. The correct tool kit & leather pouch are present, The original owners document wallet including owner's manual, service/warranty book, and dealer directory. A copy of the original Ferrari workshop manual, in English, is also included along with a quality indoor car cover.
