This is a very nice Land Rover 88 from 1973 that was delivered new in Switzerland. The car looks wonderfully original and has always been cherished by Swiss owners. This 88 is also extra interesting because the car is equipped with the beloved petrol engine. The car seats three people in the front and has generous luggage space in the rear.

The body is completely original and still looks good. The car has a beautiful patina that fits well with the age, mileage and original character. The paint is very original and has nice traces of use. The car stands on beautiful steel wheels with good tires of the correct sizes.

The interior is wonderfully spartan and purely purposefully built. The front seats are upholstered in black artificial leather and are comfortable. The controls and instruments are all completely original and function as they should. The luggage compartment is above all very functional and uncovered. The headliner is in good condition and the dashboard is also neatly cared for.

The technology is virtually indestructible. The engine is a 2.25-litre four-cylinder that produces 73 hp. The engine is mated to a manual transmission and features selectable four-wheel drive. You really need to get the hang of it before you get stuck with a Land Rover 88. Land Rover is of course not for nothing: "the best four by four by far." The brakes and chassis are in good condition and make the car a pleasant driving experience.

In short, a very nice Land Rover 88 in an attractive colour scheme and wonderful original condition.
