Sprint finish
Natural aspiration, air-cooling, rear-wheel drive – who said the Porsche 911 hasn’t changed over the years? Porsche customers in 2015 are quite happy to dismiss the past, and accept four-wheel drive and fuel-efficient turbocharged engines. As expected, the recently announced turbocharged engines are spreading throughout the range, and can now be found in the four-wheel-drive variants of the 911 Carrera and Targa. To restore some faith, there is the option of the rear-axle steering from the 911 Turbo, which begs the question – what will the company’s flagship 911 be called next?
