This year’s Challenge & GT Days promise to be the loudest yet

On 26–27 August, the undulating hills above the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg will once again reverberate to the sound of Italian horsepower when Ferrari racing car owners descend on the Austrian circuit for this year’s Challenge & GT Days. And we’ll be there to bring you all the action…

Conceived by the Austrian collector Heinz Swoboda to offer owners of competition Ferraris and Maserati (think 360 Challenges, F430 GT2s, 488 GTEs and MC12 GT1s) the opportunity to collectively enjoy their cars in a laid-back and non-competitive environment, the Challenge & GT Days has capitalised on the surge of interest in modern-era sports-racing cars, which continues to show no sign of let-up.

Poised to take place at the spectacular Red Bull Ring in Austria on 26–27 August, the third edition of the event will encompass historic Ferrari Formula 1 cars for the first time. And we’re told that there’s already a selection of very special scarlet single-seaters confirmed, the soul-stirring V12 and V10 howls of which should sound ungodly bouncing around the Styrian hills. We will be heading to Spielberg to bring you all the action from what promises to be another cacophonous extravaganza of Italian sound and speed.
