Chassis E24 RA1-08 is a factory Motorsport chassis and was one of the first Group A CSi's built. It was originally purchased by Giuseppe Briozzo and raced throughout 1983 along with Urs Knecht, Hans-Rudolf Stalder and Georges Bosshard in ETCC. Its race history can be found further below in the history section.
Acquired by the current owner in 2016, the car was fully restored to its former racing glory by renown specialist Geoff Steel Racing (UK).
The restoration and specification details are as follows :

Full bare shell rebuild over the winter of 2017/18
Fully stripped to a bare shell. The original aluminium roll cage was removed and then the shell dipped
A new T45 cage was then installed and fully sprayed inside and out white. The livery is as the car raced at Donington 500 in 1983
The original engine has had a full rebuild, ARP rod bolts, up-rated cam followers fitted, produced over 300bhp on the dyno
New 100 litre fuel cell with dry break re-fuelling
Fully rebuild dampers, brake calipers and new master cylinders
New seat, harness and fire extinguisher
Air jacks
Retaining its original, period dash and gauges

Seats and harness are valid until December 2022, fuel cell until March 2022, fire extinguisher 2 year service is due November 2019 and the engine has only done 4 hours running !
A complete restoration file is available and comes with the car. After its restoration, the car has only been used at a track day and test day so it is sold fresh and in race-ready condition with current FIA HTP.
