This particular example has covered only 2,950 miles from new. It is 1 of just 4 UK coupes out of the 99 numbered cars Alpina produced.

Available initially as both coupes and convertibles, the coupes had a far higher degree of modification. Designed as a real drivers car with a specification inspired by Alpina's long racing heritage, this example is identical to the personal car of Alpina's CEO Andreas Bovensiepen.
This car was ordered with a host of factory options including; special order paint in Ferrari's Grigio Medio, a Drexler limited slip differential, BMW icon adaptive LED headlights, an electric glass sunroof, a head-up display, the Harman Kardon loudspeaker system, front and rear cameras with surround view, an electric rear sunblind, and Apple CarPlay.

​The Edition 99 Coupe specification included the following items over the standard Alpina B4S: a full titanium lightweight exhaust system specially made for Alpina to use on the Edition 99 by Akrapovič; Alpina classic 20” forged alloy wheels finished in Ferric grey; up-rated drilled and vented Alpina brakes made by Brembo; a substantially revised ALPINA Sport Plus Suspension set up including body reinforcements both at the front and rear for increased torsional stiffness, auxiliary springs, bushings and stabilisers with increased spring rates as well as new, stiffer connecting links to push the dynamic envelope and improve handling precision and turn-in; solid milled aluminium shift paddles finished in matt black; Alpina deco-set in matt black; Edition 99 plaques in the engine compartment and cabin showing 80/99; Alpina piano black lacquer trim with the Edition 99 logo inset; Alpina Clubsport seats in alcantara and black merino leather to match the rest of the interior.

The engine is the pinnacle of Alpina's in-house engine building, and their last bespoke engine. featuring bespoke turbos, Mahle pistons, a new crankshaft and additional cooling to produce 452bhp and 680Nm across a wide power band. Delivered through an adapted ZF 8-speed gearbox uprated to give better shift timing.

Presented in as-new condition throughout and offered complete with its original books, spare key, keyring, key box, bottle of Alpina wine (Alpina in addition to producing cars are one of Germany's largest fine wine importers) and service/warranty paperwork.
