Description

Chassis No. 0T02G137207

Engine No. 7207

This striking Mustang Boss 302 was originally supplied to B&R Ford Sales of Buckhannon, West Virginia, finished in Grabber Blue and equipped with the four-speed toploader manual transmission, power steering, power brakes, AM radio, and raised white-letter belted tires, now fitted to Magnum 500 chrome wheels. It was later owned by Mr. Taylor's friend and avid connoisseur of original Shelbys, Billy Weaver, from whom it was acquired.

The car remains in startling original condition, with about 80 percent of its factory paint, minus only the left door and rear fender, and a remarkable interior with its original seat upholstery, door panels, and carpeting, all as-new down to the seatbelts, striped Mustang floor mats, original Hurst shifter, and AM radio. The non-'shaker' hood opens to reveal the freshened original engine with its correct air cleaner, valve covers, exhaust manifolds, distributor, and even the original pollution equipment and hose clamps!

Even the small parts that have been routinely replaced still accompany the car loose, including the original fan belts with their DO parts numbers, master cylinder, spark plugs, mufflers, etc. Accompanying the car is also the original spacesaver spare, jack, and lug wrench, as well as the original factory speckled trunk mat; the jack instructions are still on the bottom of the trunk lid. The car still has its first set of keys with key codes, noting 'record number and destroy tag' – which no one did.

Recording only 5,551 actual miles, this amazing original Boss 302 has been enjoyed by Mr. Taylor since 2012, and now awaits addition to another collection where its remarkable preservation will continue to be enjoyed.
