What a beautiful appearance the 356 Speedster is. After all these years, it is perhaps one of the most beautiful models to ever leave the factory gates of Stuttgart. However, this is not an original copy. This car is a very well built replica of the original. A Volkswagen Beetle 1300 served as the basis and has a beautiful polyester body. What we can say with certainty is that one reproduction is not the same. This example has been built to a very high standard with some fantastic upgrades that we rarely see.

The body is in excellent condition. The car was painted in a beautiful brown metallic color that perfectly matches the age and appearance of the car. The car stands on original wheels with beautiful hubcaps and tires in the correct sizes. The bumpers follow the lines of the body excellently and are not only well painted, but the chrome is also in top condition. The fits of the hood and trunk are also very nice and the convertible top present is practically in new condition. The hood fits well everywhere and is easy to operate. The windscreen is beautifully low and contributes to the pure Speedster experience.

The interior is also fantastically upholstered. The carpets look beautiful and have a beautiful brown trim. What is also striking is that not only the interior is beautifully upholstered, but the trunk is just as beautifully equipped with the same carpets as the place where the driver sits. In addition, beautiful bucket seats have been fitted that not only sit comfortably but also give the interior a fantastic look. The dashboard is painted in the color of the car and the instruments and controls have all been renewed during the construction and therefore function perfectly. To make driving at lower temperatures more pleasant, the car is equipped with a Webasto heater, the controls of which are beautifully concealed under the dashboard.

The technology consists of a 1300 engine equipped with Solex carburetors. The engine is more than powerful enough to propel the Speedster in a sporty way and the transmission also shifts wonderfully precisely. The handling of the Speedster is excellent thanks to its low weight. The chassis is comfortable but still gives the car a sporty handling.

In short, a beautiful Volkswagen Speedster 356 reproduction in an excellent color scheme and in absolute top condition.
