Description
We bough this car from a German car dealer who had been importing the New Fiat 500’s from an Italian Fiat Dealership. He noticed the 500R in the corner of the Italian dealers showroom. Following a lot of negotatiaon the car was bought and taken back to Germany. The car had been restored in Italy with some nice upgrades including its Abarth rocker cover, Momo stering wheels and twin exhaust.
As a family we chanced upon the car when walking past the German dealership nearby to Nurbugring and again after much negotiation secured the car.
The German dealer agreed to rebuild the engine (as he had an in house engine specialst ) and there is a bill in the file for this.
In 2020 the car was given a thorough service and overhaul, including a complete new exhaust system, electronic ignition, new fuel pump, new king pins, bushes and shock absorbers. The brake were also completely overhauled. All this work is supported by invoices

Although the V5 document shows 5 keepers, 3 of these have been in our family and the car has been lovingly cared for throughout its time.

The car is incredibly sound and rust free. These 500R’s are a revelation compared to the 500cc non Syncrmesh gearbox model. They offer a worthwhile improvement in power and the gearbox allows for much easier driving.
