50 years, 50 made, 50mm lens

Based on the standard M6, the classically styled body is swathed in Jaguar’s signature green Connolly leather, and paired with a collapsible 50mm lens for quick-draw capabilities. The rare piece is crowned with a celebratory engraving on the top of the body, as well as a special ‘XK xx/50’ serial number inside the accessory shoe. This example, number 24 of 50, will go up for auction at Bonhams’ ‘Scientific, Technological and Mechanical Musical Instruments’ sale on 19 May 2015 in Knightsbridge, carrying an estimate of £1,500 ­– £2,000.
