Fiat
Fiat was founded in Italy in 1899 by a group of investors including Giovanni Agnelli, who later became the managing director. During its long history the company has manufactured railway engines and carriages, military vehicles, farm tractors and aircraft, but the main focus has always been on cars. Today, the Fiat group is one of the largest carmakers in the world, with famous marques such as Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Ferrari, Lancia and Maserati all operating under the Fiat umbrella.
